Polyester can be tricky to dye, but with the right dye and method, it's entirely possible to get a really nice result. In this post, we'll show you how to dye polyester at home and why Rit DyeMore is the best choice for synthetic materials.
Why is polyester more difficult to dye?
Polyester is a synthetic material that does not absorb regular textile dye in the same way as natural materials such as cotton or linen. Therefore, a special dye that can adhere to synthetic fibers, and high heat are required for the dye to penetrate properly.
